New Health and Safety Standards

***Please DO NOT COME FOR MASSAGE if you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms! YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR LATE CANCELLATION -Runny nose, cold like symptoms, shortness of breath, body aches (from being sick) Fever, Sore throat, or anything that results in excessive coughing or sneezing.  Right now - its best to wait until you are symptom free- even if you think its allergies****

 Therapeutic Massage NW is committed to adding and enhancing processes and protocols to ensure the health and safety of our patients, and therapists.  The additions and enhancements are all based on the following the CDC guidelines, State of WA Department of Health and American Massage Therapy/ WA state Massage Therapy guidelines and suggestions.  I want to ensure that I am taking the right measures to ensure safety without sacrificing your relaxation or the providers well-being. 

 Massage therapy will be more critical now than at any other time in our history.  COVID-19 isolation and uncertainty have impacted mental health - anxiety & depression are a genuine global concern. You know that massage therapy can help relieve tension in your muscles and connective tissues, increase blood flow and promote relaxation. What you may not have known,  is that massage therapy has been found to help relieve the physical symptoms associated with depression and anxiety such as headache, insomnia and widespread muscle pain.

For preventative measures to reduce risk to everyone – I have implemented some new and improved measures including –

*Therapist is fully Vaccinated for Covid 19

*Thoroughly wiping down entire service room and tools with approved hospital grade EPA registered disinfectants – Wiping down and disinfecting common areas/ surfaces and door knobs every hour. 

*Mandatory masks for therapist and patients.  Therapist will wear gloves upon request.

*Hand sanitizer will be available upon entering the building, the suite and the treatment room.

*All linens are single use only and now utilizing High Temp laundry service for all linens.

*Scheduling at least 30 min between clients to implement the above

*New HEPA Filter Air Purifier with UV-C Technology - running in the treatment room
